"Out of Focus" is a postcard design that was created using a combination of design tools from the past and the present. The process for this postcard design began in Adobe Illustrator by creating a mockup of what I had in mind for the final postcard. Then, I handset the type in the lockup, and carved the outline of a brain into a block of linoleum. After letter-pressing the type, I stamped the brain outline around the words.
